Dear DuVall Parents,
Thank you Ms. Dembrosky and Mr. & Mrs. Nelson for organizing book bingo last week. Thank you to everyone who attended.
Conferences are Tuesday (2:35-8:30) and Thursday (4:05-7:00) this week. Teachers are required to have a conference with every parent. Please come at your scheduled time stay within your allotted time. Bring any questions you may have. There is a long table near the gym with all of our Lost & Found items. Please take time to visit this table and take whatever belongs to your child(ren).
Wednesday is World Kindness Day. Our school Ambassadors have prepared a slideshow to share with students and will be handing out stickers to students they see being kind to others. Everyone is asked to wear a “kind” shirt or the color blue.
Grades 1, 3, 5 will have vision screening done by the county this week and Grades K, 2, 4 will have hearing screening done by the county this week.

- If any family member is a veteran, we invite you to lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance on Monday, which is Veteran’s Day.
- Math Club is canceled this week.

- Battle Against Hunger! The fundraiser will be taking place Nov. 18-22. All donations and proceeds will be going to Zaman International and The Amity Foundation. This is also a contest of our three feeders going against one another. Let’s support our Edsel Ford feeder!
- Every parent is encouraged to get an iChat. They are valid for three years. You must fill out the form two weeks prior to volunteering. This is for the safety of our children. Please do not expect to fill one out and volunteer the same day.
