Dear DuVall Families,
Thank you to everyone who attended our Watch D.O.G.S. meeting last week. A huge thank you to those that signed up to volunteer as a Watch D.O.G. If you would like to sign up, any time during the school year, please stop in the office. You may also email me a date and times you are able to be a Watch D.O.G. and I will add your name to the calendar.
Edsel Ford’s Homecoming is Friday, October 4. They have invited all of their feeder schools to participate in their parade at 4:30 on the 4th. At the PTA meeting it was agreed that we would participate. All of our students are invited to walk in the parade. We will select a couple of older students to carry our banner. If a parent is interested in wearing our Leo the Penguin costume and walk, please let me know. Students that participate are asked to wear a DuVall shirt. More information will be included in next week’s email.
This week’s notes;
- Does your child know how to tie his/her own shoes? If not, please work on this.
- Bus Riders: The bus driver cannot wait when dropping off students. If you have a young student please be at the bus stop on time for the safety of our students.
