Dear DuVall Families,
On Tuesday we will have a Pajama Day for the entire school. We are asking that each student donates a minimum of $1.00 to benefit the Dearborn Education Foundation.
Many thanks to our PTA and all of the parents who donated and volunteered for our Family Valentine Dance. Everyone had a great time!
On Wednesday at 5:30 there will be an Ice Cream Social meeting in the Media Center and Zoom (link in the calendar below). Following this meeting, at 6:30 will be our monthly PTA meeting also on Zoom (link below) and in our Media Center. We hope you can make it!
Career Week is coming up soon! It will be February 18 to February 21, 2025. Thank you to the parents and family members that have signed up. So far only 8 parents have signed up. We need more people and we would love your involvement! If you would like to present to our students please Press here! You have a slot to offer, sharing with our students details about your careers. ALL careers are meaningful, invited and encouraged to come.
Thank you to all of our parents and family members who drive their student athletes to their basketball games and cheer them on during the games. Our students are so lucky to have such involved, wonderful parents and families. A special shout out to our girls JV coaches Mary Burr and Meghan Fillip and our Varsity coaches Mike Gonzalez and Christina Gorosh for volunteering their time. On February 28th our girls will be playing at DuVall, 5:00 JV and 6:00 Varsity. At 4:45 all of our boys basketball players, JV and Varsity, are asked to attend wearing their team jerseys with jeans. They will be given their basketball medals at this time. After the medal presentation our music club will lead the crowd in the National Anthem. Come and support our Penguins!

- Coming soon – This year’s Mini Martian Marathon will be held Saturday April 12th at Ford Field in Dearborn. There is a cost to join the team of $23 if registered before March 11th (price goes up after that date). Each participant will receive a t-shirt, medal,and inflatable alien as a member of our team. - Career Week: If you’re interested in participating, simply sign up by clicking the link below. You’ll be able to select the day and time that works best for you within the Career Week timeframe. - The Mobile Dentist is coming Thursday, Feb. 27. You can sign up online at www.MySchoolDentist.com or fill out the form that was in your student’s folder last week. Forms are due by Feb. 7

- Developmental Preschool: Enrollment for current families will open on February 3, and it will be open to the public starting on February 17. The new rates will be: Full Day: $45.50 Half Day: $25.50 Before & After School Care: $6.75 Additionally, we are excited to announce that we plan to expand preschool early childcare and after-school care to all schools with Kids Club.
