DuVall Elementary School

Week of November 27-December 1

Dear DuVall Families,

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoyed the long weekend with your family and friends.

Thank you for not parking on Francis in the drop-off lane. At least before 9:00 the traffic there seemed better. However, there is now parking on Beech on the same side of school. It is illegal to park here. If anyone is ticketed there is nothing I can do. Our bus had trouble picking up students last week because so many cars were parked here, one car even facing the wrong way. PLEASE, do not make your convenience the priority. For the safety of all of our children we must follow the traffic rules. Remember, you may think it’s only you breaking the rules but others see one person doing something they shouldn’t and they feel it gives them permission to break the same rule. Soon, we have many cars breaking the traffic rules. When crossing please walk to the corner and have our crossing guard Mr. Wilson, cross you safely. Crossing between and in front of cars is not safe. Thank you for following the rules and keeping our student safety your priority.
