Dear DuVall Families,
I hope you are having a great summer! Due to the construction, we could not have summer school this year. We arranged to have a pop-up just so our students could come by school, get some cool stuff, and visit. The dates are July 26, August 2, 9, 16, from 9:00-11:00. Students should not be dropped off but do not need to be with an adult if they live close and have parent permission to walk or bike to school. This is open to all elementary students so bring your friends and relatives.
This Wednesday is our first Lit Lab Pop-Up. Mrs. Morrison will be on Francis near door 5 from 9:00-11:00. All students are welcome to stop by for 20-30 minutes during this time to receive free books, materials, and do a STEAM acitvity. All grades are invited! Spread the word.
Unfortunately, we still do not have a school calendar for the year. However, I can share the following dates that we do not have:
- Open House, August 25, 1:30-3:00 (This will probably be held outside on the playground.)
- First day, August 28, 8:55-12:05
- First full day, August 29, 8:55-3:55 (Kindergarten will be dismissed at 12:05.)
- Kindergarten will have 12:05 dismissal August 28 thru Spetember 8
- No school for students, November 7
- No school, winter break, December 23-January 5
- No school, mid-winter break, February 19
- No school, spring break, March 25-29
I will keep you posted as more information is shared.
