Career Week is this week! If you are presenting to our students please contact me with any questions. Thank you for giving your time to our students.
DuVall will host Kindergarten Round-Up on Monday, April 14 at 6:00. Please pass the word.
Our monthly Parent Education meeting will be held on Thursday in the Media Center at 9:05. Our topic is UFLI which is what is being used in our classrooms to teach phonics and reading. Donuts and coffee will be provided. All parents in attendance will receive a Penguin Point for each of their children.
We are in need of items for our basket raffle for Ice
Cream Social. Every class is making a basket. Please contribute with an item or a small cash donation. If you are an owner of a business or have connections with a business that can donate a gift card, raffle items or a monetary donation it would be greatly appreciated. All donations are tax deductible.

- Math Club is canceled this week.
- Our PTA and Ice Cream Social Meetings will be held on Wednesday, rescheduled from last week. Details are in the schedule below.
- Welcome Hillary Burzawa, our new receptionist/clerk. She will begin her new position on March 11 after she is approved by the board.
- Congratulations to our Chess Team. They tied Lindbergh in their match last week. They are 1-0-1 this season.
- Both of our girls teams lost against Nowlin last week. They played well and gave it their all. We are proud of them! Our JV team is 1-1 and our Varsity is 0-1-1.

- Coming soon – This year’s Mini Martian Marathon will be held Saturday April 12th at Ford Field in Dearborn. There is a cost to join the team of $23 if registered before March 11th (price goes up after that date). Each participant will receive a t-shirt, medal,and inflatable alien as a member of our team. - The Mobile Dentist is coming Thursday, Feb. 27. You can sign up online at www.MySchoolDentist.com or fill out the form that was in your student’s folder last week. Forms are due by Feb. 7
