DuVall Elementary School

Week of April 15-19

Dear DuVall Families,

I hope everyone enjoyed their time off last week and I hope those celebrating had a wonderful Eid.

Thank you to the parents that joined us for the eclipse. It was a great afternoon!

Many thanks to Mr. Tapp, Mrs. Press, Mrs. Smith, and our wonderful parents for their help with the Martian Marathon. Our kids did a fabulous job running and we are so proud of them! All runners should wear their Martian Marathon shirts and medals on Tuesday for a picture. Congratulations to Mrs. Pinon for coming in second place for her age group in the half marathon at the Martian Maraton!

A summer school letter will go home Monday with a calendar. If your child is attending summer school please keep the calendar and personally bring in the application. It is a district requirement that the applications be completed/reviewed in person. However, if you are unable to come in we can review your application over the phone. Until we meet or speak with you, your child’s application will not be considered submitted. Please read the cover letter carefully and follow the directions given.

Friday is our Father & Son Game Night. A flier was sent home last week. To donate and/or volunteer click here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C084DACAE28A7F8C61-49034757-game
