There are so many reasons to give thanks this Thursday on Thanksgiving. During the past few weeks, there have been so many positive events happening around the school. Our Kindergarten and First Grade were able to share a Thanksgiving Meal together yesterday with the help of their parents and teachers. Earlier in the month, our students in all grade levels were able to box up 12 full boxes of candy (including 125 stockings filled) for the Veterans. On Veterans Day Observed the students helped to decorate trays and made cards in advance for our annual Veterans Project in May. Last week, our school was able to bring in 1,407 cans to participate in the annual Battle for Hunger, which were donated to help families in need. With all of these positive events, we are coming together as a school community to make a positive impact in the lives of our students as well as helping make a difference in the lives of others who are also a part of our local community. I would like to thank all of our families and staff members who help to make our school such a wonderful learning environment for our students! Please enjoy your time together as a family during our Thanksgiving Break (that starts today) and see you all back in school on Monday!
